Joining a local PMI chapter is a great first step to start networking with local practitioners on a regular basis and become eligible for our considerable chapter discounts. In order to become a PMI Metrolina Chapter member:
- You must first become a Project Management Institute (PMI) member.
- Once you have become a PMI member, you can login to the global PMI website and under the "Marketplace", choose "Community Membership", "Chapters", and navigate to the PMI Metrolina local chapter under "United States-North Carolina".

A: You must first join the global Project Management Institute. Access the Membership area on the global PMI® website at www.pmi.org. While you are completing your registration, you will be asked to select a component. Select Metrolina as your component.
A: You can login to the global PMI website and under "Marketplace" choose "Community Membership" and then choose "Chapter" and navigate to United States-North Carolina to find the Metrolina Chapter to add to your existing PMI membership.
