Winter PMP Prep Course
Mark your calendar and register for the upcoming PMP Exam Prep Course being presented by your chapter. Our philosophy is to review the material in the PMBOK® Guide, provide real life experiences, and promote the participants form study groups to help them get a better understanding of the PMI perspective of project management and project success. The prep course is based on the updated PMBOK® Guide – Fourth Edition.
We offer four sessions of the PMP Exam Prep Course every year (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall). The class covers all of the subjects covered in the PMBOK® Guide as well as the PMI Professional and Social Responsibilities in 10 3-hour sessions.
The fall schedule is:
Session 1 February 6th 8:00 am – 11:30 am Introduction and Initiating Processes, PMBOK Guide Chapters 1-3, 4 and 10
Session 2 February 6th 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm Project Scope and Time Processes, PMBOK Guide Chapters 5 and 6
Session 3 February 13th 8:00 am – 11:30 am Time, Cost and Human Resources Processes, PMBOK Guide 6,7 and 9
Session 4 February 13th 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm Risk Management Process, PMBOK Guide Chapter 11
Session 5 February 20th 8:00 am – 11:30 am Procurement, Quality & Communications Processes, PMBOK Guide Chapters 4, 8, 10 and 12
Session 6 February 20th 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm Human Resources Process, PMBOK Guide Chapters 4 and 9
Session 7 February 27th 8:00 am – 11:30 am Procurement, Quality and Communication Processes, PMBOK Guide Chapters 8,10 and 12
Session 8 February 27th 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm Monitor and Control Work, PMBOK Guide Chapters 4,5,8,11 and 12

Location: Davidson College (classroom information TBD)
Cost: $595 for members of any PMI Chapter and $749 for non-members. The non-member rate includes a year of membership in PMI and the Metrolina Chapter.
