PMI Metrolina Community Outreach Program

The PMI Metrolina Chapter is kicking off a new Community Outreach program with events planned throughout 2009.  Through Community Outreach, the PMI Metrolina Chapter endeavors to contribute to social and civic initiatives by providing volunteer assistance and expertise to community not-for-profit organizations.  The purpose of this program is to encourage, promote and coordinate volunteer opportunities that extend beyond the PMI Metrolina Chapter and into our community.

Examples of programs that the Community Outreach Program supports include:
  • Non-profit organizational activities that offer an opportunity for the Chapter to promote its agenda, provide recognition for its members and promote mutual good will
  • Local humanitarian organizations that need Chapter resources and project management expertise to maximize critical resources for relief and development

The Community Outreach program will provide an opportunity to contribute time and talents to a non-profit organization in a meaningful and structured manner. Consider being a part of these incredible opportunities for 2009:
